Have a cracking August…
August is here, and we’re excited to have cracking native British lobster throughout the whole month here at The Fleece and chef has been busy thinking of the best possible serve for you to enjoy. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4th August, join us for lobster specials.
We’re starting with Lobster Thermidor & Skinny Fries in our first week, then onto Grilled Lobster, Avocado & Pink Grapefruit Salad. Into the third week, expect Grilled Lobster, Garlic Butter & Fries, before ending the month with Butter Poached Lobster, New Potatoes & Skinny Fries on the last weekend.
Our friendly fisherman Rob, (read all about him here), only fishes the very best, and has been fishing the local waters for over thirty years. He is out at sea at the crack of dawn each morning, inspecting the lobster pots he set on the sea bed. He only picks the lobsters when they’re at their peak and of the very highest quality, ensuring that the fishing remains sustainable and is the best he can catch. With this in mind, we only have limited availability each weekend, so be sure to book a table early and enjoy one of these tasty beauties with a bottle of fine wine… We also want to hear your best jokes and puns….
