David Cameron recommends us…

Prime Minister David Cameron gave us the official thumbs-up yesterday by recommending the pub to some of his honourable friends. The recommendation came in response to an invitation from Peter Bone, who invited David Cameron to meet him at lunch on Sunday. Although he turned down the invitation, as he’s making an appearance on BBC One’s The Andrew Marr programme, the leader suggested a visit The Fleece whilst in Witney.

We were thrilled to hear David Cameron recommending us to in Prime Ministers Question Time, it’s not very often our wonderful Witney gets the recognition it deserves, and even better when he recommends us for food and drink.  We were especially proud to hear David Cameron telling Peter Bone to spend as much time and as much money with us as he could.  On this subject, we couldn’t agree more.
