Watch Mikey in action tomorrow at Witney Food Festival
It’s back! The wonderful Witney Festival of Food & Drink returns to Church Green tomorrow, when the stunning mediaeval church of St Mary plays host to a fabulous celebration of local food and drink.
More than 70 stalls will be laden with fantastic produce from right across West Oxfordshire, with plenty to tempt your taste buds as well as your purse, and there will be activities for children as well as foodies of all ages.
Make a bee-line for the Skills Tent at 1.30pm, where our head chef Mikey will be showing you how to fillet fish and cook it en papillote, a delightful little aromatic package that’s infused with flavour. The lovely fresh summer dish he’ll show you will be featuring on our new summer menu which launches in early June.
Come along and lend your support, then slip back to The Fleece afterwards for a well-deserved Pimm’s!
